Shippensburg University Athletics

2013 (R-Sophomore): Played in eight games and made four starts on way to being named to the All-PSAC East Second Team unit…picked off a deep pass in team’s nationally-televised victory at Bloomsburg…made seven tackles on the season.
 
2012 (R-Freshman): Played in the first two games of the season but was injured and missed the rest of the season…started the second game versus Slippery Rock…totaled four tackles (three solo) in his time on the field.
 
2011 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
Coatesville High School: Totaled three varsity letters with the Red Raiders under head coach Matt Ortega…earned All-Ches-mont Conference First Team honors…tallied over 40 tackles and three interceptions as a senior…also competed in track & field...was on the honor roll for all four years of high school.
 
About Boyd: Full name is Phillip Farrell Boyd…is the son of Phil Boyd Sr. and Robyn Baynard…majoring in finance with a concentration in personal financial planning.
