2011 (Junior): Had a breakthrough season during her third year with the Raiders…logged a team-high 126 innings to complement nine victories and 14 complete games…recorded a career-high 118 strikeouts…fanned five or more hitters in 14 of her 23 appearances…notched a career-high nine strikeouts in starts against Glenville State and East Stroudsburg…started all three of Shippensburg’s PSAC tournament games, getting a win over Mercyhurst…threw a career-high 10 innings in a memorable complete-game victory at No. 19 Kutztown, allowing just two hits in her first six innings of work en route to an eight-strikeout, one-run effort…picked up two PSAC Eastern Division victories over East Stroudsburg…earned victories in three consecutive starts early in the season over Catawba, Glenville State, and Wilmington (Del.)…allowed three earned runs or less in 15 of her 21 starts.

2010 (Sophomore): Made steady improvement during her second full season with the team…ranked second on the team with 91.2 innings pitched…threw eight complete games…won each of the team’s final three games of the season, starting two of them…earned four total victories during the season…struck out 64 batters…started 14 games and made 23 total appearances…dazzled in a start against California (Pa.), allowing just one run and six hits in a complete-game effort while striking out five…opened the season with 7.2 no-hit innings against Glenville State in which she struck out seven…allowed just one earned run in her next start, a seven-inning effort against Wayne State…gave up three earned runs or less in seven of her last eight appearances during the season.

2009 (Freshman): Made eight appearances including five starts in her debut season as a pitcher for the Lady Raiders…struck out 20 batters in 26.1 innings…posted a 3-1 record…dazzled in her collegiate debut with a victory over Barton in which she did not allow an earned run in six innings while striking out eight…allowed just one run while striking out four in 4.1 innings against Lake Erie…threw two innings of scoreless relief in the PSAC tournament against Lock Haven.

Downingtown West High School: Was a team captain as a senior and finished her career with four letters as a pitcher in the Chesmont Conference under head coach Jeff Cellucci…received first-team all-conference honors in her sophomore and junior years…placed third in the state tournament as a freshman and a sophomore...also played volleyball and was on the swim team during high school…competed for club team Delco Chaos under head coach Joe Spina.

Personal: Full name is Chelsea Gail Kendall…is the daughter of Raymond and Linda Kendall….majoring in management…brother Jamie swam at Shippensburg…also has younger sisters Alexandra and Lily.
