East Pennsboro High School: Swam for the Panthers under head coaches Dan Hersh, Tina Gingrich and Todd Baldwin…thrived in the breaststroke, regularly posting sub 60-second times…won a district gold medal in the 100 breaststroke…finished fourth at the PIAA state meet in the 100 breaststroke…achieved a 33rd-place finish in the 100 breaststroke at YMCA nationals…competed at the club level with East Pennsboro Aquatic Club and the West Shore YMCA under the guidance of Lu Hetherington.
Personal: Full name is Michael Tyler Thatcher…is the son of Brian and Laura Thatcher…majoring in applied physics…has three siblings: Chloe, Alex and Nick.
