Biography

2011 (R-Junior): Spent time as a pitcher and first baseman for the Raiders in his third season with the team…made 13 appearances as a pitcher, including four starts…recorded his first career save after a stellar relief performance against nationally-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State…struck out 14 batters…logged over 33 innings…made 14 starts in the field…totaled 20 appearances as a field player…recorded 10 hits…scored eight runs…tallied six RBIs…posted a .977 fielding percentage.

2010 (R-Sophomore): Honored by the conference as an All-PSAC Eastern Division Second Team pick as a utility player…was one of the team's primary starting pitchers this season while also serving as one of the most feared hitters in the lineup… named to the 2010 ABCA/Rawlings “Gold Glove” Atlantic Region First Team squad as a pitcher…yielded a perfect fielding percentage in 38 games including 49.2 innings as a pitcher…shined on the mound…ranked fourth on the team in ERA…tied for the team lead with three victories…struck out 34 batters in 49 innings…threw a complete game three-hitter in an impressive road victory at nationally-ranked Kutztown…strung together three quality starts in four appearances during conference play, with the other being a five shutout-inning effort against Bloomsburg…produced a 3.30 ERA in PSAC East play until his final start of the season… adept at the plate…ranked fourth on the team with a .303 batting average…slugged two home runs to complement 21 RBIs…added 11 doubles and scored 24 runs…posted a .384 on-base percentage…finished a memorable doubleheader at IUP 4-for-9 at the plate with two extra base hits, two stolen bases, nine RBIs and four runs scored…ripped multiple hits in 12 games and multiple RBIs in four games.

2009 (R-Freshman): Rotated between third base, designated hitter, first base and the mound in his first season with the Red Raiders…started 22 games in the field, including 11 at third base…finished the year with a .254 batting average in 67 at-bats…tallied multiple hits in four games…had his best game against USC-Aiken, going 3-for-5 with four RBIs…totaled 11 RBIs and seven runs…made nine appearances as a pitcher, including four starts.

2008 (Freshman): Attended Liberty University…redshirt season.

Lower Dauphin High School: Finished his high school career as a three-time Mid Penn All-Star…earned two Patriot News Big 11 Second Team honors and also made the Patriot News Big 11 All-Underclassmen team…ranked third in school history with 86 career hits at time of graduation…his tenure included three Mid-Penn Conference Championships, two appearances in the state championships and one AAAA District 3 Championship…also competed in wrestling and was a four-year starter, winning two Mid-Penn Conference Championships and an AAA District 3 Championship.
