Waynesboro High School: Earned four letters for the Indians under head coach Rich Hetzer…tallied 38 goals and 10 assists through three seasons at Waynesboro…named a Mid Penn First-Team All Star and a Chambersburg Public Opinion First-Team All Star as a freshman…earned Mid Penn Second-Team and Public Opinion First-Team All Star in 2010…played for head coach Bryan Flickinger and Boro United on the club circuit…also a four-year letterwinner in field hockey.

Personal: Full name is Michal Meredith Sanders…is the daughter of Brian and Melanie Sanders…plans to major in elementary education…comes from a family with a rich Shippensburg athletic tradition, as sisters, Jordan, Hannah and Molly all attended or currently attend SU and participate in athletics…Jordan swam and graduated in 2009, Hannah played soccer, graduated, and is now an assistant coach, and Molly is a junior teammate.
