2012 (Junior): Appeared in eight games for the Red Raiders as a place kicker, contributing to field goals and extra points…went 3-of-5 on field goals, with all three makes coming in the NCAA playoffs against Bloomsburg…his longest successful kick of the season was 34 yards…converted 16-of-17 extra point attempts…both of his missed field goals were blocked.

2011 (Sophomore): Grabbed the reigns as the team’s starting place kicker in his second season with the squad and turned into one of the PSAC’s most reliable kickers…went 11-for-11 on field goals with a career-long of 36 yards…also made 46-of-53 extra point attempts…set the school record for points in a season by a kicker, with 79…became the only kicker in school history to finish a season perfect in field goal kicking (through at least 10 attempts)…was the only qualified individual in the PSAC to make all of his field goals…has made all 16 attempts in his career thus far, a new record for consecutive makes spanning more than one season…also spent time handling punting duties as well, punting six times for an average of 33.5 yards with one pinned inside the 20-yard line…won the George & Meriem Kaluger Award (special teams player of the year) at the team banquet

2010 (Freshman): Alternated as the team’s primary place kicker throughout the season…converted all five of his field-goal attempts, including a season-long boot of 35 yards against East Stroudsburg…made two field goals against East Stroudsburg and Cheyney…nailed 14 of his 20 PAT attempts.

2009 (Freshman): Was not with the team.

Boiling Springs High School: Lettered once for the Bubblers under head coach Matt Heiser while competing in the Mid-Penn conference…converted two of his three field goal attempts and 12 of his 15 extra point attempts…recorded seven touchbacks and his longest field goal was 37 yards…averaged 28 yards per punt over 10 attempts and received honorable mention for his efforts…also played soccer and baseball while also competing in swimming.

Personal: Full name is Drew Addison Newcomer…is the son of Donald and Dorothy Newcomer…majoring in psychology.
