2011 (R-Freshman): Played in six games – including the final four – in his debut season on the field for the Raiders…played in 30 snaps and graded out at 77 percent…posted a grade-out of 67 percent in a career-high 12 snaps against East Stroudsburg.

2010 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

Shippensburg Area Senior High School: Earned two varsity letters as a Greyhound under head coach Eric Foust...played guard, center and tackles as an offensive lineman…paced Shippensburg in pancake blocks (25) and touchdown blocks (26) as a senior…graded out at 95 percent in his final prep season…helped the Greyhounds qualify for PIAA District 3 playoffs twice…named a Third Team All-State Offensive Lineman in 2008 and First Team All-State Offensive Lineman in 2009…selected as an All-Eastern PA Football Big School Second Team pick as a senior…named the offensive MVP at Shippensburg…also wrestled.

Personal: Full name is Tyler Stephen Fairchild…is the son of Stephen ’86 and Barbara ’87 Fairchild…majoring in information technology…sister Sarah-Lynn was a drum major in the Red Raider Marching Band…grandfather Art was a hall of fame baseball coach at Shippensburg.
