2013 (R-Junior): Again started all 11 games at linebacker and ranked sixth on the team with 53 total tackles…totaled 2.0 tackles for loss for 10 yards lost, including a half-sack…led the team with two forced fumbles, against East Stroudsburg and IUP…tied his career high with nine tackles against East Stroudsburg…totaled 24 tackles, including 1.5 for loss, over the final four games of the season…registered four quarterback hurries and broke up two passes.
 
2012 (R-Sophomore): Made 11 starts and finished seventh on the team in tackles after another productive season at linebacker for the Red Raiders...tallied 60 tackles, including 33 solo...matched his output of a season ago with 5.0 tackles for loss while improving the yards lost on those stops to 40...tackles for loss came in five separate contests...credited with sacks against Slippery Rock and Lock Haven...picked off a pass against Millersville...forced a fumble against Cheyney and recovered another against Kutztown...posted a season-high seven tackles against ESU, Kutztown and West Chester.
 
2011 (R-Freshman): Started the final nine games of his debut season on the field with the Red Raiders…finished third on the team in tackles with 55, a total that included five tackles for loss…made the most of his lone interception on the year, returning the pick back 31 yards for a touchdown at home against Clarion in the third game of the season…also notched his only sack of the season against Clarion while leading the team with eight tackles…posted a career-best nine tackles the next week at C.W. Post…had 2.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble at Millersville.
 
2010 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
Upper Merion High School: Won three letters as a Viking under head coach Joe Powell…had 97 tackles in ten games as a senior…rushed for 713 yards as a senior for 5.3 yards a carry and had nine touchdowns offensively…named a First Team All-Suburban One Conference American Division linebacker as a senior…selected to same team as a defensive end as a junior…named team’s MVP as a senior and defensive MVP during junior season…also played lacrosse and earned three varsity letters…named lacrosse team’s MVP as a senior and was an All-Suburban One pick during junior and senior seasons…named Upper Merion’s Male Athlete of the Year.
 
About Brennan: Full name is James F. Brennan…is the son of Jim and Jean Brennan…majoring in geo-environmental studies and seeking a letter of completion in geographic information systems…has two sisters in Bridgett and Megan…Megan played lacrosse at Monmouth University.
