2009-10 (Junior): Maintained her status as a valuable distance runner for the Lady Raiders…placed eighth in the 3K at the PSAC indoor meet…also competed in the 5K at the PSAC indoor meet…set new personal bests in the 1,500, 3K and 5K.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Continued her progression as a distance runner for Shippensburg…placed sixth at the outdoor conference meet in the 5,000-meter run (18:42.22) and eighth at the indoor conference meet in the 3,000-meter run (10:22.41).
2007-08 (Freshman): Completed a solid debut season with the Lady Raider program…ran on the indoor 4x800-meter relay team that set a new school record and won a PSAC title…earned individual All-PSAC honors during the indoor season with a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter run (10:26.70) and All-PSAC honors during the outdoor season with another third-place finish in the 3,000-meter run (10:24.15).
Thomas Johnson High School: Earned multiple letters for the Patriots under coach Becky Abrecht Somerville…graduated as a Maryland Distinguished Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society...also played soccer.
Personal: Full name is Kathleen Nicole Frey…is the daughter of Paul and Laurie Frey…majoring in elementary education and Spanish.
