Shippensburg University Athletics

2011 (Junior): Started the majority of the team’s games at catcher during her third season with the Raiders…appeared in 38 of the team’s games…totaled 20 hits, including one double…scored 11 runs…tallied five RBIs…posted an impressive .984 fielding percentage…committed just four errors in 253 defensive chances…contributed an RBI-single for SU’s lone run in its NCAA tournament game at No. 10 Bloomsburg…had four sacrifices.

2010 (Sophomore): Developed into a valuable regular for the Raiders in her second season with the team…started 33 games and appeared in 34 overall…ranked fifth on the team with a .271 batting average…ripped four extra-base hits and scored nine runs…totaled six RBIs…compiled a .961 fielding percentage…went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored in the first game of the home doubleheader against ESU at the end of the season…had two RBIs in a game against Slippery Rock…contributed multiple hits in six games.

2009 (Freshman): Made appearances in 10 games including five starts…batted .164 at the plate over the season and had one stolen base…also notched four RBIs, three walks and a sacrifice fly during the 2009 campaign…played well in a 4-1 win over Barton to start the season…recorded two RBIs, a single and a walk against the Bulldogs...scored a run in the season opener against Mount Olive after earning a walk at the plate.

Lancaster Catholic High School: Was a first-team all-conference all star and team most valuable player in her junior and senior seasons…won four letters while playing catcher, first base and third base in her high school career under head coach Terry Klugh in the Lancaster-Lebanon League…named a second-team all-conference all star at first base in her sophomore season…also competed for club team Central PA Krunch under head coach Bob Ligon.

Personal: Full name is Megan Elizabeth Lehman...is the daughter of Michael and Wanda Lehman… majoring in sociology.
