Biography
2007-08 (as a junior): Improved his personal-best time in 100-yard
breaststroke with a time of 1:03.58…finished the 200-yard breaststroke
(2:18.87 at the PSAC Championships)…also recorded the
fifth-best team performance in the 100-yard breaststroke.
2006-07 (as a sophomore): Was among the top-five finishers for the
team in the 100 and 200 breaststroke……earned a 14th-place finish
in the 100 breaststroke and a 12th-place finish in the 200 at the
PSAC Championships…competed in the 50 freestyle at the conference
championships.
2005-06 (as a freshman): Competed as a freestyle and breaststroke
swimmer in his debut season for the Red Raider swim team.
Personal: Full name is William Wood Kane…is the son of Bill and
Michelle Kane… born on June 24, 1987…majoring in business…
serves as the president of the Shippensburg Student Athlete Advisory
Committee (SAAC).
