2010 (Sophomore): Redshirt season.

2009 (Freshman): Appeared in 29 games for the Golden Rams of West Chester…made 11 starts at third base…hit one home run and had one double among 10 hits for the season…drove in eight runs…had one stolen base…scored seven runs…had three multiple-hit games and two multiple-RBI games.

Susquehanna Township High School: Earned four letters with the Indians under head coach Matthew Rau…compiled a .430 batting average with three home runs and 25 doubles during his high school career…received all-conference first team honors on three occasions…named to the Big 11 First Team squad as a shortstop…tabbed as his team’s MVP after junior and senior seasons…also played golf.

Personal: Full name is George Samuel Phillips…is the son of Dave and Teresa Phillips…majoring in management…has a brother, Evan, who plays baseball at IUP.
