2010 (Junior): As a junior, Evans competed in five races with the Raiders for the second consecutive year. In the opening race of the season at the Alumni Invitational, Evans posted his PR for the 6K with a 20:30, good for a 12th-place finish and fifth on the team. At the Gettysburg Invitational in October, he set another PR, this time in the 8K with a 26:44, serving as the third Shippensburg finisher of the race. During the track season, Evans was an indoor and outdoor PSAC qualifier in the 5K.
2009 (Sophomore): In his second season, Evans ran in five races for Shippensburg. His best finish was a fifth-place turn at the Battle for the Buggy in which he was the team’s No. 2 runner. At the Gettysburg meet, Evans ran a collegiate 8K PR of 27:04. Evans was the No. 9 runner at the PSAC Championships and also ran in the 6K Alumni Meet and at the 10K Mountaineer Invitational.
2008 (Freshman): Evans competed in four races for the Red Raiders during his debut season with the team, recording a solid sixth-place finish at the Elizabethtown Invitational with a personal-best 6K time of 20:42. He was also the team’s fifth-fastest runner in the Lock Haven Invitational and later ran a personal-best 8K time of 28:15 at the PSU National Invitational.
