2009-10 (Junior): Played in all 27 games for the Red Raiders; starting once…averaged three points per game as a junior…finished third on the team with 51 assists…also recorded 13 steals...scored a season-high 10 points against Cheyney on Jan. 30…drained 14 three-pointers…handed out a season-high five assists against Mercy (N.Y.)…stole the ball a season-high four times against Bloomsburg…tallied points in 21 of his 27 contests.

2008-09 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 27 of the team’s games as a sophomore, making three starts…saw 16.2 minutes per game…finished the year with 53 assists and eight steals…ranked third on the team in helpers…scored a career-high nine points twice, once at Lock Haven in December and again versus Millersville in February…finished 23-of-27 from the free throw line…averaged 3.0 points per game…continued to mature as a point guard for the Red Raiders… achieved a career-high six assists at IUP and in the season finale versus Cheyney…

2007-08 (Freshman): Local talent had little trouble making transition to the collegiate level…appeared in 24 games, making one start…averaged 11.7 minutes per game…totaled 60 points on the season…finished 18-of-20 from the free throw line…finished with 37 assists…averaged 2.5 points per game.

Greencastle-Antrim High School: Played for father Garon at Greencastle-Antrim...led team to the PIAA Class AAA championship game for the first time in school history...team posted a 20-12 record...finished career with 1,287 points, ranking second on school's all-time scoring list...averaged 15.6 points per game and scored in double figures on 26 occasions...scored career-high 34 points against East Penn...led team with 137 assists and also grabbed 111 rebounds...named second team all-state following senior season...is a three-time Mid-Penn Conference selection and a three-time Public Opinion All-Star.

Personal: Full name is Jaren Glen Gembe…is the son of Garon and Julie Gembe (both are Shippensburg University graduates)...majoring in finance while seeking a minor in coaching.
