Biography
2009-10 (Junior): Maintained her role as a backstroke swimmer…achieved season-bests at the Patriot Invitational…also swam freestyle events.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Continued to serve as a backstroke swimmer for Shippensburg in her second year with the team…ranked fifth on the squad in the 50-yard backstroke (31.68)…competed in both medley relays during the season…recorded strong efforts during dual meets.
2007-08 (Freshman): Made her debut with the Lady Raider swimming program…competed in backstroke flights throughout the season…served as the team’s third-fastest season swimmer in the 200-yard backstroke (2:22.51)…ranked fourth among the team in the 50-yard backstroke (31.40) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.98).
Personal: Full name is Rachel Lynn Perugini…majoring in English while seeking secondary education certification along with a minor in communications/journalism.
