Biography
2009-10 (Junior): Made his debut for the Red Raider swim team…individual placed in two events as the PSAC championships, including seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.98) and 12th in the 200-yard IM (1:58.82)…also contributed to top-five PSAC finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and medley relays…ranked second among his teammates in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:11.40) with his effort at the conference meet…posted a season-best 100-yard breaststroke time at the Patriot Invitational…also competed in the backstroke.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Attended Indian River Community College…earned All-America honors.
2007-08 (Freshman): Attended Indian River Community College…earned All-America honors.
Northern Dauphin High School: Earned four letters under head coach Doug Yeager…second in PIAA Championships in 100 breaststroke…earned seven all-state honors.
Personal: Full name is Derek Michael Yeager…is the son of Douglas and Melanie Yeager…majoring in geoenvironmental studies.
