Biography

2009 (Junior): Appeared in all 22 games as a valuable back and a defensive midfielder for the Lady Raiders…one of her five starts in 2009 came in the NCAA Division II Semifinal game against Bloomsburg…recorded an assist in an overtime victory over C.W. Post…received Clarence Schock Foundation Fellowship award…was inaugural NCAA Elite 88 winner for having highest GPA at field hockey championships…named CoSIDA District 2 Second Team Academic All-American…selected to the NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad for the third straight year.

2008 (Sophomore):
Increased her role with the Lady Raiders and served a valuable reserve defense position for the Lady Raiders in her second year with the team…appeared in 17 of the team’s games during the season…crept up offensively and totaled seven points…fired 13 shots…scored goals against Philadelphia, East Stroudsburg and Millersville…picked up an assist against C.W. Post…named to the NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad.

2007 (Freshman): Played in 16 games while starting in two contests...she made the Dean's list in both the Fall '07 and Spring '08 semester… named to the NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad.

Hempfield High School:
Was a three-year letter winner playing center back under coach Lori O'Donnell...also played for the club team No Limit for coach Lori O'Donnell.

Personal:
Kristen Brooks is the daughter of Richard and Terrie Brooks…she majoring in marketing and international management while seeking a minor Spanish.
