Biography

2010 (Junior): Continued his exemplary work as a linebacker for the Red Raiders…named to the All-PSAC Eastern Division Second Team squad as a linebacker…finished second on the team in tackles with 65, a total that includes 41 solo stops…tied for the team lead with two interceptions…recorded five pass defenses and three pass breakups…totaled at least three tackles in nine of his 10 games…missed the Bloomsburg game due to injury…amassed a career-high 11 tackles in back-to-back weeks against Clarion and C.W. Post…tallied seven solo tackles against Shepherd, Clarion and Lock Haven…achieved both of his interceptions in the season opener against Shepherd, returning one for 33 yards…picked up at least one half of a tackle for loss in six games…had one quarterback hurry.

2009 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 12 games for the Red Raiders at linebacker while starting in six of the final seven games of the season…thrived at the SAM linebacker spot…became an integral regular…ranked second on the squad with 60 tackles (30 solo, 30 assists)…recorded at least two tackles in every game…intercepted two passes and returned each four yards…amassed 8.5 tackles for loss (including 2.5 sacks)…recovered fumbles against Shepherd and Cheyney…tallied three quarterback hurries and two pass breakups…named PSAC Eastern Division Defensive Player of the Week on October 11 in just his second-ever start after totaling a career-high nine tackles (including a career-high eight solo stops) along with an interception, 2.5 tackles for a loss and a sack against Kutztown…totaled eight tackles against Edinboro …tallied nine tackles in two games against nationally-ranked California.

2008 (Freshman):
Wasted no time making an immediate impact as one of just five true freshman to make an appearance for the Red Raiders…came off the bench in the final nine games of the season…recorded 19 tackles during the season as a solid reserve…ripped down a runner at Kutztown for a five-yard loss…tallied three other tackles against the Golden Bears…turned in a season-high seven tackles in season finale at Mercyhurst…made three tackles in his collegiate debut at East Stroudsburg.

Caravel Academy:
Led the Buccaneers to four straight state championship games…played for head coach Mike Aruanno...named first team All-State at fullback and linebacker as a senior...finished his career with over 450 tackles...credited with 98 tackles, including 60 solo as a senior...had nine tackles for loss, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery...also selected first team All-State at linebacker as a junior…chosen to play in the 2008 Blue-Gold Delaware All-Star Game…led the state in scoring with 166 points as a senior, totaling 26 touchdowns, 18 rushing and eight receiving, while adding five two-point conversions...compiled 1,037 yards rushing and 16 receptions for 359 yards...received the George Schollenberger Memorial Award as the state's scoring champion at the Delaware Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association banquet...was named 2008 Delaware Male Athlete of the Year by Delaware Sports...an outstanding blocker, helped teammates Travis Perez and Deveon Smith combine for nearly 900 yards rushing and five touchdowns...co-captained Delaware Blue All Stars with current Red Raider Jeff Tomasetti...also an outstanding wrestler, as he won three consecutive state titles and was a two-time Beast of the East All American...recognized in the top ten as a senior at 189 pounds and was ranked No. 11 in the nation at 189 pounds by InterMat...ranked at No. 7 in the nation at 171 pounds as a sophomore...became the state's all-time leader in victories with 173 on Jan. 26, 2008 and finished with 182...received Academic All-State honors in football and wrestling...named Male Senior Athlete of the Year at Caravel Academy.
