2011-12 (Junior): Earned All-America honors in the pole vault after tying for eighth place at the NCAA Outdoor Championships…won her first PSAC outdoor title in the pole vault after clearing 12 feet, 2 ½ inches…improved her school record and qualified for nationals after clearing 12 feet, 9 ½ inches at Washington & Lee/VMI meet…achieved All-PSAC indoor honors with a second-place finish…also improved her indoor school record by clearing 12 feet, 1 ½ inches at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational…honored with USTFCCCA All-Region classifications both indoors and outdoors for the pole vault.
2010-11 (Sophomore): Qualified for the NCAA Indoor championships in a stellar second season with the Raiders…established her new indoor PR for the pole vault with a school record and conference championship performance at the PSAC indoor meet…placed seventh in the pole vault at the PSAC outdoor meet.
2009-10 (Freshman): Dazzled in her debut season with Shippensburg…set the outdoor school record in the pole vault and qualified for the NCAA outdoor championships…finished second in the pole vault at the PSAC indoor and outdoor meet…her best outdoor vault came at the PSAC outdoor meet…tied the indoor school record for the pole vault at the PSAC indoor meet.
Summerdale High School: Earned four varsity letters with the Panthers under coach Brian Womer…won a state and district champion in the pole vault as a senior…graduated 18th in her class as a member of the National Honor Society…competed in gymnastics.
Personal: Full name is Megan Marie Breski…is the daughter of John and Sue Breski…majoring in biology/pre-physical therapy.
