Shippensburg University Athletics

2009-10 (R-Junior): Competed in 18 bouts at 165 pounds…won three dual meets, all three on victories by fall…pins came against Anderson (S.C.), St. Andrews Presbyterian and York…totaled five pins to account for all of his victories on the season, including one at the Super Region I Championships.

2008-09 (R-Sophomore): Enhanced his role with the team and competed in 13 matches over the course of the year for Shippensburg…earned five victories at 174 pounds, including three in dual meets…also won twice in tournament competition…recorded a victory by fall in 40 seconds during an exhibition against Gannon’s David Mosinski and another at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic...picked up additional wins at the East Coast Duals, Binghamton Open and Messiah Duals.

2007-08 (R-Freshman): Competed at the East Stroudsburg Open and served as an integral member of the wrestling room for Shippensburg…took the mat for two matches during the season.

2006-07 (Freshman): Made his debut for the Red Raiders in tournament competition at the Penn State Open and the Edinboro Open…earned his first collegiate victory with a 6-5 decision over Clarion’s Jordan Dearden…competed in four matches overall.

Indian Valley High School: Earned three letters under head coach Dustin Wenner…was a 2006 Mountain League First Team All-Star…also was an all-conference selection…finished third at districts and was a regional qualifier…compiled 68 wins for his career.

Personal: Full name is Nathan Jeffrey Reese…is the son of Jeffrey and Lanielle Reese…majoring in history while seeking a social studies teaching certificate.
