2010 (Junior): Ahlswede ran in four races with the Raiders. In the opening race of the season at the Alumni Invitational, he finished 10th with a 20:26 in the 6K, good for fifth amongst the Raiders. Two weeks later, Ahlswede finished fourth on the team at the Dickinson Invitational with a 27:29 in the 8K, good for 24th overall. He also ran at the Gettysburg Invitational and the Division II Pre-Nationals. During the track season, Ahlswede was a PSAC qualifier in the 10K.
2009 (Sophomore): In his second year with the team, Ahlswede ran in four races for Shippensburg. He was SU’s No. 4 runner at the Battle for the Buggy and competed at three different distances during the season, including the 10K Mountaineer Flatland Invitational. Ahlswede also competed at Gettysburg and in the Alumni 6K meet. Ahlswede competed in the Junior World Orienteering Championships for a second consecutive year.
2008 (Freshman): Ahlswede, who represented the United States over the summer at the 2009 Junior World Orienteering Championships, impressed during his debut season at Shippensburg. His most impressive performance came at the Elizabethtown Invitational, where Ahlswede finished second overall with a personal-best 6K time of 20:20. He also competed in two 8K races, posting a personal-best time of 28:27 at the PSU National Invitational.
Personal: Greg Eamon Ahlswede is the son of Karl and Sandy Ahlswede and is majoring in Spanish while seeking a minor in German studies.
