Shippensburg University Athletics

2008 (Junior): Became an invaluable team leader on a youth-enthused squad…evolved into the role of the team’s primary defensive midfielder with Shippensburg…started in all 18 games during the season for the Red Raiders in his third season with the club… was one of just five players to start in every game…provided valuable experience…fired one shot during the season.

2007 (Sophomore): Continued to evolve as a midfielder with Shippensburg…made six appearances off the bench for the Red Raiders in second season with the club…appeared in contests against Millersville, Holy Family, Lock Haven, NYIT, Kutztown and Slippery Rock…fired one shot on goal during the season.

2006 (Freshman): Appeared in eight games off the bench with appearances against NYIT, Kutztown, Slippery Rock, East Stroudsburg, Millersville, Lock Haven, West Chester and Shepherd…did not record any statistics.

Hempfield High School: In his first two years at Hempfield, he led the junior varsity in goals and assists…member of the Black Knights’ Lancaster-Lebanon Section 1 League championship team…was a three-year starter for the Black Knights…high school teammates with current Red Raider Miles Harriger…also set the junior varsity school record in 4x800 relay.

Personal: Full name is Dustin John Andrews…is the son of Daniel and Donna Andrews…born on Sept. 8, 1987 in Lancaster…majoring in finance.
