Was one of six players to appear in all 28 of the team’s games, averaging 17.9 minutes per game … made five starts for the season as a valuable member of the guard rotation…totaled 11 three-point field goals … converted over 71 percent of her free throw attempts … averaged 3.2 points per game, totaling 89 for the season … recorded 18 steals and five blocks.

Before Shippensburg
Totaled 1,345 points, 15th in Pottstown Mercury-area history and third on Pottsgrove’s career list … also had 473 assists and 298 steals at Pottsgrove where she played for head coach Mike Brendlinger … averaged nearly five assists per game in helping her team to a 71-27 record during her career, including 59-15 her last three seasons … led the Pioneer Athletic Conference in three pointers as a senior … named Pottstown Mercury Player of the Year last year … averaged 13.3 points, 5.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds and two steals per game as a junior … she also made 39 three-pointers … earned four consecutive All-PAC First Team honors … named Honorable Mention Southeastern Pennsylvania by the Philadelphia Inquirer as a junior and senior … an all-around athlete, Metz played field hockey and softball through 10th grade before trying lacrosse as a junior and track and field as a senior.
