2022 (Freshman): Played in 13 games, making seven starts during her debut season with the Raiders...contributed to the defensive corps by limiting opponents to one goal or less in eight games, four of which were shutouts.
 
Elizabethtown Area High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Bears under head coach Shawna Givens…competed at the club level for Alleycats under coach Tami Scola…honored as a 2021 Lancaster-Lebanon (LL) League First Team All Star…finished as a three-time LL All Star after earning Second Team honors in 2019 and 2020…named Team Captain during her junior year…also earned four varsity letters for lacrosse…was a member of the honor roll as a senior.
 
About Mertz: Full name is Hailey Alexis Mertz…is the daughter of Melissa and Jason Mertz…majoring in business administration…has a brother, Ryder…mother Melissa ’95 was a standout field hockey and lacrosse player who was inducted into the SU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.
