2009 (Junior): Served as a pitcher our of the bullpen, a designated hitter and a pinch hitter for the Red Raiders in his first season with the team…had a pinch-hit RBI single against Belmont Abbey in his first career appearance…totaled three hits and scored three runs through 17 at-bats…drew one walk…pitched 4.2 innings on the hill over the course of six appearances…allowed six earned runs…struck out two batters…completed two scoreless relief appearances.

2008 (Sophomore): Was an integral member of the Hagerstown Community College team that finished third at the NJCAA D-1 World Series with a 42-19-1 record…the junior college squad was District and Region XX Champions.

2007 (Freshman): Began his first of two seasons with the Hawks of Hagerstown Community College.

West York High School: Finished high school career with three letters while under the direction of head coach Terry Bupp…individual highlights included a no-hitter and three one-hitters…named to the Coaches York Dispatch All-County team as a pitcher…his squad won the 2004 York American Legion Championship, where he earned a most valuable pitcher award after posting a 2-0 record in the tournament…played linebacker and fullback as a team captain on the football team in high school and was a forward on a two-time divisional championship basketball squad.

Personal: Full name is Kyle Joseph Chronister…born on Aug. 24, 1986…is the son of Rod and Kathi Chronister…majoring in supply chain management…sister Megan is a gymnast at Bowling Green…younger brother Tyler plays baseball at West York High School.
