Biography

2008: Made 63 starts as the everyday second baseman for the Red Raiders… named to the NCBWA All-North Atlantic Region First Team as a second baseman after finishing the year batting .335 with 31 RBIs…also named to the All PSAC-West First Team at second base… was second on the team with 11 doubles and third on the team with 78 hits…struck out just 28 times in 233 at-bats…ranked fifth on the team with 89 total bases and fourth on the team with 28 runs scored…finished with 21 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games…recorded a 15-game hitting streak from March 22-April 6 in which he batted .446 with 10 RBIs…made just five errors on the year for a .980 fielding percentage…was second on the team with 146 assists from second base…continued his knack for situational hitting by leading the team with 14 sacrifices… compiled eight games with three or more hits… named to the all-tournament team at the 2008 North Atlantic Regional Championships.

 

2007: Played in 22 games, making 10 starts...batted .209 while hitting 9-for-43 on the year…drove in three runs, including two against West Georgia on February 11... scored eight runs, with two coming against Slippery Rock on April 27...successfully stole two of three bases…committed just three errors on the year...recorded an .893 fielding percentage.

 

2006: Fill in admirably at second base after starter Eric Perlozzo was lost with a season-ending injury ... led all Shippensburg freshmen with 47 starts and 49 appearances ... ranked fifth on the team with 172 plate appearances ... batted .292 in 144 at bats ... scored 20 times and drove in eight runs ... walked 17 times while striking out just 13 times ... only Red Raider starter to finish the season with more walks than strikeouts ... ranked second on the team with 111 assists ... totaled 10 multi-hit games ... committed just five errors all season ... hit first career homer against Bentley on March 15 ... went 2-for-3 with two runs scored versus Bryant on March 19 ... recorded an eight-game hitting streak from March 18-31 ... went 4-for-8 with two runs scored in three PSAC Tournament games.
