Biography

2008: Emerged as the complete all-around player for the Red Raiders with yet another strong season behind the plate…was the only player to start all 65 games and has now started in 133 consecutive games dating back to 2006…has appeared in 166 of the team’s 172 games over the past three seasons… finished the season with a .389 batting average  and finished second on the team with 16 stolen bases…also finished second on the team with both 49 RBIs and 53 runs scored…also hit 10 doubles and three home runs… finished with a .984 fielding percentage while committing only two errors the entire season…also robbed a home run at the D-II College World Series…finished with 32 multi-hit games and 13 multi-RBI games…notched an impressive 16-game hitting streak (second-longest on the team) from March 30-April 15, batting .428 with 15 RBIs…named the 2008 North Atlantic Regional Tournament MVP after getting a save in the final game and finishing the tournament hitting 10-for-21 with three doubles, seven RBIs, seven runs scored and two stolen bases… ended the season on a 13-game hitting streak… selected to the All PSAC-West Second Team as an outfielder.  

 

2007: Followed up impressive fresh­man season with a stellar sophomore performance…started all 52 games of season…batted career high .351, second best on the team…led team with .471 slugging percentage…also led team with 42 runs scored, 90 total bases and 67 hits…notched second consecutive All PSAC-West Second Team honors…had 24 RBIs along with 3 home runs, 8 doubles, and 3 triples…also tops on team drawing 21 base on balls…went 15 of 18 on stolen base attempts, bumps career percentage to .846…also led team in total plate appearances and at bats…tal­lied 12-game hit streak from Mar. 28 to April 10…batted .704 during streak with 14 RBI…had 20 multi-hit games over course of season…

 

2006: Made an immediate impact in his freshman season with the Red Raiders, displaying speed on the bases and in the field and the ability to hit for average ... named All-PSAC Western Division Second Team as an outfielder ... one of just four freshman to earn All-PSAC Western Division honors ... ranked first on the team in outfield assists with seven ... ranked second among Shippensburg freshmen with 45 starts and 49 appearances ... ranked third on the team with 178 plate appearances ... posted the team’s fourth-best batting average at .326 ... posted a solid .394 OBP ... scored 35 runs, which ranked third on the team ... swiped seven bases in eight attempts ... tallied a team-best three triples ... recorded 10 two-hit games and three three-hit games ... posted a 13-game hitting streak from April 15-29 ... went 3-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored against Bryant on March 17 ... delivered a 4-for-4 performances with three runs and two RBI on March 19 against Bryant ... drove in a career-high three runs against Lock Haven on April 15 ... went 3-for-4 with three runs scored against Clarion on April 28.
