Shippensburg University Athletics

2020 (R-Sophomore): No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019 (R-Freshman): Appeared in five games as a reserve offensive lineman during his debut season…competed in a season-high eight snaps against Lock Haven, a game in which he achieved a season-best coach game grade-out of 88 percent…totaled 25 snaps along the offensive line during the season.
 
2018 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
Exeter Township High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Eagles under head coach Matt Bauer…earned All-Berks League honors as a senior guard and All-County honors and a junior and senior…served as a three-year starter, including as a junior and senior captain…team won a 2015 Berks Championship…contributed to an offensive line that blocked for school’s all-time leading rusher (Nick Sarangoulis) and a quarterback (Brandon Unterkoefler) who posted back-to-back seasons with at least 1,000 passing and 1,000 rushing yards…was a member of the honor roll with a 3.8 GPA…selected to the Berks County All-Academic Team…also competed in track & field.  
 
About McGarry: Full name is Shane Thomas McGarry…is the son of Jack and Carole McGarry…majoring in mechanical engineering while seeking a minor in mathematics…has two brothers: Connor and Evan.
