The Shippensburg University men's soccer team found the back of the net in the 73rd minute to earn a hard-fought road draw against Chestnut Hill Saturday afternoon at Victory Field, 1-1.

Shippensburg nearly found an answer in the moments before and after the halftime interval.
Cam Henry delivered a curling free kick ticketed for the top right corner that was denied by Griffin shot-stopper Max Bond at the stroke of halftime, and
Braedon Johnson was later turned aside on a point blank shot attempt minutes into the second half.
Outstanding give-and-go passing between
Evan Brandt and Rush created an opening for Rush on the right flank that led to the equalizing goal. The SU winger delivered a low cross into the box in the direction of Dogan, who slotted it past Bond for his second goal of the season.
The Raider goal came toward the end of a persistent 90-minute attacking performance that saw the visitors tally a 12-to-6 advantage in shots on goal and a 7-to-1 edge in corner kicks.
Bond was outstanding in the Griffin net, finishing with 11 saves. Krumenacker totaled five stops for Shippensburg.
The Raiders return home for its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division opener Wednesday against Bloomsburg at 7 p.m.
