2026 ROSTER

The Shippensburg University women's tennis team begins the fall “non-championship” portion of its 2026-27 season on Saturday when it heads to California (Pa.) to take on the Vulcans.

The Raiders have five matches scheduled this fall and are also scheduled to compete at the ITA Atlantic Regionals.

It’s so exciting to get back on the court. It honestly feels like we haven’t even left. With these new girls, it’s so nice to get out playing, and get out hitting. It’s fortunate that we have two seasons to get excited, to enjoy tennis, and ultimately prepare for our spring.

Rachel Gallagher (Sr., • Hollidaysburg, Pa.)

I know the team is super excited. Last season was one of our best seasons, so honestly we’re coming into the season super pumped up and we’re all ready to play. We have five matches this fall, so it’ll be exciting to show what we’ve been working on all summer.

The class breakdown of the 2026 roster is listed below. It is using the “traditional” eligibility model.

All three of this year's seniors will have the opportunity to return next year as “fifth-years.”

Shippensburg is under the direction of head coach Dylan Curtis. Corinne Markovich joins the coaching staff as a student assistant after serving as SU's No. 1 singles competitor the last four seasons.

One of my messages is that progress isn’t always linear. We will have our valleys and our mountains. Whether you have a good day or a bad day, you still have to show up tomorrow. You have to be mentally prepared and physically prepared to be able to perform.

NOTES FOR 2026:

• Shippensburg finished last season with a 7-12 dual meet record and were a win on the final day from clinching a spot in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament.

• SU's seven wins in 2025-26 were its second most in a single season in 24 years (15 in 2000-01). The Raiders won eight dual meets during the 2024-25 campaign.

• Senior Brinley Orris led all returning players with eight singles victories last season. Senior Rachel Gallagher posted seven wins in singles competition.
