The Shippensburg University men's soccer team begins its 2026 season at 4 p.m. Saturday when it hosts California (Pa.) at David See Field.

Following an away match Saturday, Sept. 5 at Chestnut Hill, SU will open its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division slate when it hosts Bloomsburg Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.

The class breakdown of the 2026 roster is listed below. It is using the “traditional” eligibility model. 

All seven of this year's seniors will have the opportunity to return next year as “fifth-years.”

Shippensburg is under the direction of head coach Jeremy Spering, who enters his 18th season at Shippensburg in 2026 having steered the Raiders to 94 career victories.

SU competes in the highly competitive PSAC Eastern Division, which features four teams that sported a winning record last season (Millersville, West Chester, Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg).

NOTES FOR 2026:

• Three teams from each division will qualify for the PSAC Men's Soccer Tournament. Quarterfinal matches will be played the Sunday after the last regularly scheduled conference contest. Semifinal Matches will be played the Wednesday after the quarterfinals, and the Championship will be contested the following Sunday.

• Every PSAC Eastern Division team (including Shippensburg) is scheduled for a home and away contest against PSAC provisional member Lackawanna. The contests do not count in the Conference standings and do not count toward a team's NCAA record.

• This is the first season in which NCAA Regional rankings will be computed by the NCAA Power Index (NPI). In previous seasons, each region had a committee that weighed the criteria and selected the rankings, which were then approved by the national committee.
