2026 SCHEDULE
2026 ROSTER

The Shippensburg University women's soccer team begins its 2026 season at 1 p.m. Thursday when it hosts West Virginia Wesleyan at David See Field.

It is the first official match of the season and one of four competitions for the Raiders in a seven-day span - SU scrimmaged at Frostburg State last Friday and at Dickinson on Monday, and will travel to Lackawanna on Saturday.

“I think that these past two weeks have honestly been really well for especially the new girls to come in, and also people to come in and prove themselves while they're on the field.”
Kirstin Brown • (R-Sr., Hershey, Pa.)
“I think a big thing, like we said, is about controlling the controllables and like showing up every single day with a positive attitude, giving 100% effort, and just like putting everything you can on the field.”
Gabrielle Walker (Sr. • Stony Brook, N.Y.)

The class breakdown of the 2026 roster is listed below. It is using the “traditional” eligibility model.

Four of this year's seniors will have the opportunity to return next year as “fifth-years.”

Shippensburg is under the direction of head coach Rob Fulton, who enters his 21st season at Shippensburg in 2026 having steered the Raiders to 135 career victories.

SU competes in the highly competitive PSAC Eastern Division, which features four of the seven teams that qualified for last year's NCAA Atlantic Region Tournament.

“Our returning group is veteran, and this leadership group is about as good as I've ever had, so that's helpful, and I think they will help the younger players come on along.”

NOTES FOR 2026:

• Once again, five teams from each division will qualify for the PSAC Women's Soccer Tournament. First Round games will be held on the Saturday following the conclusion of the regular season and feature the No. 4 seed hosting the No. 5 seed in the same division. For the remaining rounds, the quarterfinals will be held on Tuesday, semifinals on Friday and the championship match on Sunday. This is the second year that the divisions will crossover for the quarterfinals (high East seeds hosting lower West seeds, and higher West seeds hosting lower East seeds).

• For more information on the PSAC Tournament format, the PSAC Women's Soccer operating code is available here.

• Every PSAC Eastern Division team (including Shippensburg) is scheduled for a home and away contest against PSAC provisional member Lackawanna. The contests do not count in the Conference standings and do not count toward a team's NCAA record.

• This is the first season in which NCAA Regional rankings will be computed by the NCAA Power Index (NPI). In previous seasons, each region had a committee that weighed the criteria and selected the rankings, which were then approved by the national committee.

WHAT IS THE NCAA POWER INDEX (NPI)?
