SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University head tennis coach Dylan Curtis has confirmed the recruitment of four student-athletes who have each agreed to attend the university and will join the Raiders for the 2026-27 season.
 
"I am very excited to add these four student-athletes to our program," Curtis said. "They will contribute on and off the court in great ways. The staff is looking forward to getting them into the mix and developing them into the best student-athletes they can be."

Renee Kinard
Thorndale, Pa./Bishop Shanahan
 
Bishop Shanahan High School: Competed at the varsity level for the Eagles under coaches Hetal Baman and Jamie Breen…posted a winning record through four years of competition…played at No. 1 singles as a senior after three years at No. 2 singles…also competed in track & field.
 
About Kinard: Full name is Renee April Kinard.
 
Alana Mickley
Mercersburg, Pa./James Buchanan
 
James Buchanan High School: Competed at the varsity level for the Rockets…also competed in track & field…was a member of the National Honor Society.
 
About Mickley: Full name is Alana Marie Mickley...is the daughter of Jeffory Mickley and Jennifer Souders…has two brothers: Aiden and Anden.
 
Victoria Sheehan
Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson
 
Wilson High School: Competed at the varsity level for the Bulldogs under coach Todd Gensemer…made it to the second round of the state doubles tournament in 2025…contributed to a 2025 county championship and a 2025 district runner-up finish…was a member of the High Honor Roll and the National Honor Society.
 
About Sheehan: Full name is Victoria Jane Sheehan...is the daughter of Tim and Gina Sheehan…has a brother, Patrick…parents graduated from Shippensburg in 2000 and 2001 respectively.
 
Devon Stothart
Bernville, Pa./Tulpehocken
 
Stothart is entering her junior year at Shippensburg.
 
Tulpehocken High School: Competed in soccer at the varsity level for the Trojans under coach Paul Zerbe and in softball under coach Ashley Rank…combined for seven varsity letters…played club soccer with the Reading Rage under coach Tom Gosselin…earned two All-Berks IV honorable mention classifications for softball and two Division IV honorable mention merits for soccer…achieved a spot on the Presidential Honor Roll for four years…was a member of the National Honor Society.
 
About Stothart: Full name is Devon Emory Stothart...is the daughter of Erik and Taryn Stothart…has a sibling, Kinsey.
