Five Raiders named to 2026 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

Ahlgren, Alexa Bailey, Coombs, Hauck and Pioli earn academic honors

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's lacrosse team had five of its players named Wednesday to the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll.
 
This year's honorees are graduate Jill Ahlgren, junior Alexa Bailey, senior Shawn Coombs, junior Brynn Hauck and senior Ali Pioli.
 
Ahlgren is pursuing a master's degree in organizational development and leadership with an individualized leadership skills concentration. She maintains a graduate grade point average (GPA) of 4.0.
 
Bailey is majoring in early childhood education and seeking a minor in reading; she currently maintains a 3.656 cumulative GPA.
 
Coombs graduated cum laude in May with a degree in marketing (management concentration), having compiled a 3.518 cumulative GPA.
 
Hauck is majoring in early childhood education; she currently maintains a 3.673 cumulative GPA.
 
Pioli, a member of the Wood Honors College, graduated magna cum laude in May with a degree in biology (pre-med concentration) and a minor in Spanish, having compiled a 3.789 cumulative GPA.
 
The IWLCA honored a total of 568 student-athletes from 65 different schools on the 2026 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll.
 
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
