SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University head field hockey coach
Rayell Wallace has confirmed the recruitment of eight student-athletes who have each agreed to attend the university and will help the defending NCAA Division II National Champion Raiders for the 2026 season.

"We are excited to welcome the newest members of the Shippensburg University Field Hockey team," Wallace said of the newcomers. "They have the ability to add intensity, grit, and skill to the existing roster and I am looking forward to seeing the entire 2026 team on campus in August!"

The recruiting class, consisting entirely of incoming freshmen, features six midfielders, one forward and one goalkeeper. Four of the newcomers are in-state recruits, while one each represent Maryland and Argentina.

Argentine midfielder Juana Caracotche Picone is the younger sister of current Raider and 2025 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region selection

Midfielder Kate Page is the younger sister of former Raider assistant coach Jordan Page. The elder Page helped guide SU to three NCAA National Championships (2017, 2018, 2021).
