SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University lacrosse wrestling's Kyler Everly and Diesel Koser have been recognized as a 2026 Division II Academic All-District ® At-Large honorees, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom.

Everly, a civil engineering major with a minor in mathematics, graduated this spring with a 3.84 GPA through the completion of 135 credits.

Koser is a junior biology major (health professional/pre-med concentration) with a minor in psychology with a 3.802 GPA.

It is the second Academic All-District honor for both wrestlers.

Overall, Shippensburg had eight student-athletes (six female, two male) selected to this year's All-District® At-Large squads. The other award winners were Emma Albee (field hockey), Carme Caracotche Picone (field hockey), Kelly Naudé (field hockey), Ali Pioli (lacrosse), Savannah Silvestre (field hockey) and Kayla Snyder (field hockey).

To be eligible for Academic All-District ® consideration, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and must be enrolled at their institution at the time of nomination either as undergraduates or graduate students.

Academically, an undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a graduate student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.

The Academic All-District ® Team is selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Whereas most of the Academic All-District and All-America ® teams focus on specific sports, the Men's At-Large category features a collection of several sports: fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo and wrestling.

Specific requirements for wrestling include being in the lineup for at least 75 percent of a team's scoring events (open tournaments, duals) or competing in their weight class at a conference or regional championship meet.

Both men are now among those eligible for consideration for the Academic All-America ® Men's At-Large Team that will be announced July 8.
