Shippensburg University head coach
Brooke DellaValle and senior
Grace DeMarzio have been selected to participate in the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star Game, to be held this Saturday at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.
The Senior All-Star Game participants have been divided into two teams for each Division: Blue and White. DellaValle will serve as coach of the Division II White All-Stars, while DeMarzio will compete for the Division II White All-Stars as a player.
DeMarzio was an IWLCA First Team All-Region defender this past season. She finished the 2026 campaign ranked third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in groundballs per game (3.47), fifth in caused turnovers per game (2.41) and ninth in draw controls per game (4.29). Her 43 caused turnovers in 2026 are tied for the second-most in school history.
DellaValle guided the Raiders to the PSAC Tournament this spring, the program's first postseason berth in 19 years (since 2007).
Under DellaValle's tutelage, DeMarzio became the first Raider in school history to be named PSAC Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Year in 2026 and just the fourth SU player to win a major conference award.
The Senior All-Star Game highlights graduating seniors from across all divisions of NCAA Women's Lacrosse. This event is an opportunity for the best of the senior class to compete on the field with, and against, former rivals and teammates.
DeMarzio is the first Raider to participate in the Senior All-Star Game since
Sara Vosburg last season.
