SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's outdoor track & field team finished in fourth place at the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships that wrapped Saturday at Seth Grove Stadium, totaling 21 individual place-winning performances (six of which were All-PSAC efforts).

The Raiders (97 points) came within five points of third place (California (Pa.)) and nine points of second place (West Chester) while improving one spot in the standings from last season.

SU's 21 place-winning performances matched its projected total entering the meet.

Aided by a friendly tailwind in Friday's prelims, Slezak delivered a new personal best of 11.99 seconds that improved her No. 3 all-time ranking in the event. Her time of 12.21 seconds in Saturday's finals gives Shippensburg an All-PSAC finish in the 100 for the fourth time in the last six years.

4. Emily Calamia 25.36 (24.99p)

11. Aliyah Serrano 25.25 (SB)

Slezak held strong over the final 75 meters of Saturday's penultimate individual track event to finish second in 25.13 seconds – allowing her to join Leah Graybill and Aliyah Serrano as the only Raiders in the last 10 years to achieve an All-PSAC finish in the event. Her prelim time of 24.71 seconds, just .17 seconds off her PR, was also the second-fastest of the competition.

Emily Calamia dazzled in the prelims by breaking the 25-second mark to earn a spot in the finals. Calamia ran 25.36 seconds on Saturday to finish fourth in her PSAC outdoor 200-meter debut.

Serrano, who missed last season due to a major injury that threatened the completion of her athletic career, persevered to return for her final year and delivered a season best of 25.25 seconds that resulted in 11th place.

400
3. Alyssa Wert 57.12 (56.41p)
8. Emily Calamia 58.23 (57.59p)

Alyssa Wert, whose 200-meter run did not go as she had hoped, delivered an excellent 400-meter prelim time of 56.41 seconds that put her in position for a bid at the league title. Wert was in contention during the final and ultimately finished in third place with an All-PSAC performance and time of 57.12 seconds.

It was the fourth Top 10 outdoor finish and the highest place-finish of Wert's outdoor career. She finishes as a three-time scorer in the outdoor 400, having placed sixth last season and fifth as a sophomore.

Calamia, who missed the awards stand in the 400 by one spot last season, qualified for the finals with a prelim time of 57.59 seconds. She achieved her first scoring performance in the event by running eighth in the finals, crossing the line in 58.23 seconds.

800
4. Mary Stoltz 2:16.41 (2:16.61p) (PR)
6. Ava Whysong 2:20.14 (2:18.42p)
13. Lilah Drager 2:20.93 (PR)

Mary Stoltz, Ava Whysong and Lilah Drager made their PSAC Championships debuts in the 800 meters and each of them finished the meet with something to be proud of.

Stoltz ran the third-fastest time in prelims and ran toe-to-toe in the finals with the frontrunners. She improved by two-tenths of a second in the finals, delivering a collegiate best of 2:16.41, to place fourth. It is the best finish by a Raider in the 800 meters since Kiana Tucker's runner-up finish in 2015.

Of the Top 4 finishers, Stoltz was one of three freshmen along with West Chester's Cassie Nugin and Ember Foster. First and fourth place were separated by nine-tenths of a second.

Whysong capped off a breakthrough 800-meter season with her first individual PSAC scoring performance. After running 2:18.42 in prelims to qualify as the No. 7 seed, Whysong ran 2:20.14 in the finals – which was good enough for sixth place.

It marked the first time since 2012 (champion Amanda Raudabaugh, fourth-place finisher Lindsay Bingaman) that Shippensburg had multiple scorers in the 800.

Drager completed her own breakthrough season by establishing a new personal best during prelims. Her time of 2:20.93 resulted in a 13th-place finish. Drager entered the season with an outdoor PR of 2:31 and by season's end, improved her collegiate best by 11 seconds.

1500
3. Mya Trotty 4:42.90 (PR)

Mya Trotty delivered an impressive PSAC debut in the 1,500 meters, becoming Shippensburg's first All-PSAC finisher in the event since Kyra Gerber took third in 2022.

Trotty held strong at the front of the race entering the final 400 meters and battled to a third-place finish, crossing the finish line in 4:42.90 to establish a new collegiate best.

5K
2. Shaela Kruskie 17:18.28
9. Mya Trotty 18:11.77 (PR)
11. Victoria Bartholomew 18:17.26 (PR)

Shaela Kruskie maintained her momentum from indoor season by delivering a first-place and second-place finish in the two longest distance events. After winning the 10K on Thursday, Kruskie finished second in the 5K on Saturday with a solid time of 17:18.28.

Trotty and Victoria Bartholomew both delivered new collegiate bests. It was the second event of the day for Trotty, who started her Saturday with the 1,500 meters. She missed the podium by just one spot, finishing ninth in 18:11.77, while Bartholomew placed 11th in 18:17.26.

10K (contested Thursday)
1. Shaela Kruskie 35:52.15 (PR) (No. 7 all-time at SU)
11. Victoria Bartholomew 38:12.55 (PR)
13. Caleigh Vincent 38:28.38 (PR)

Kruskie won the 10,000 meters in dominant fashion Thursday night with an NCAA-provisional qualifying time of 35:52.15 to kickstart the meet for the Raiders.

Running in 40-degree temperatures under artificial lights, Kruskie maintained a steady pace of 84 and 85-second splits throughout the middle and back third of the race while her competition dropped off – as she zoomed to a 14-second victory over West Chester's Kristina Tapia.

It is her second PSAC title of the academic year – as Kruskie won the 5K title indoors. She moves up one spot on SU's all-time 10K ranking from eighth into seventh with her PR.

Her 10K was a new personal best by more than 32 seconds. It was her second PSAC Championships 10K – she placed 15th last season with a time of 40:13 – making her Thursday night run more than four minutes faster than one year ago.

Kruskie's performance is the fastest ever run by a Raider at the PSAC Championships. She becomes just the third Raider to ever win a PSAC title in the 10K and the first in 23 years. Kelly Stewart won back-to-back PSAC 10K titles in 2002 and 2003, while Steph Yingling achieved the same feat in 1997 and 1998.

Despite the cold temperatures, running at night helped dissipate the wind that had developed late Thursday and provided an atmosphere for fast times. This year's eighth-place time (by IUP's Hannah Weaver) was 37:36.94 – while last year's eighth-place time was 39:06.07.

Bartholomew, who finished sixth last season, was unable to get back on the awards stand this season – yet ran a new personal best by 15 seconds. Bartholomew improved her PR by running 38:12.55 – finishing 11th – and running 42 seconds faster at this year's conference meet compared to last season.

SU's biggest personal best of the day was delivered by Caleigh Vincent – who qualified for the PSAC Championships with her 10K performance just six days ago at the Paul Kaiser Classic. Vincent, who ran 40:24.52 last Friday and entered the meet as the No. 19 seed, set a new PR by almost two full minutes. She finished 13th overall with a time of 38:28.38.

She ultimately placed sixth in the finals with a time of 15.03 seconds – achieving her first PSAC place-winning performance in the event.
