Grace DeMarzio was named to the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Atlantic Region First Team Wednesday.
Â
It is the first All-Region recognition for DeMarzio, and the first All-Region honor for the Raiders since Hannah Seifried was chosen as a Second Team midfielder following the 2022 season. She is the first Raider to be selected to the First Team in seven years, since Valerie Hertz in 2019.
Â
DeMarzio led the backline for a Raider squad that achieved its first PSAC Tournament berth in 19 years, dating back to the 2007 season. She finished the 2026 regular season ranked third in the PSAC in groundballs per game (3.47), fifth in the PSAC in caused turnovers per game (2.41) and ninth in the PSAC in draw controls per game (4.29).
Â
Her 43 caused turnovers in 2026 are tied for the second-most in school history. Additionally, her 74 draw controls rank fourth in single-season school history, while her 64 groundballs are tied for the fourth most in a single season. All three of those totals are single-season career highs.
Â
DeMarzio was previously named the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Year, becoming the first Raider to win the award and just the fourth Raider lacrosse player to win any major conference award.
