Gabe Mosser '18 was recently named the Triple-A Pacific Coast League's (PCL) Pitcher of the Month for the month of April.

Mosser led the PCL with a paltry 2.21 earned run average in a league-high 36.2 innings pitched over seven April appearances. He also led the league with a 0.87 WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) and a .185 opposition batting average.

Four of the five games Mosser started in April qualified as quality starts (six plus innings pitched and three or fewer earned runs), tied for most in all of minor league baseball. He was the only Triple-A pitcher to record more than one start of at least seven innings.

Mosser is a veteran of eight seasons in professional baseball since being drafted in the 27th round by the San Diego Padres in the 2018 Major League Baseball (MLB) First-Year Player Draft. He has spent time in MLB Spring Training in each of the last two seasons as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies (2025) and the Seattle Mariners (2026).

The former Raider ace registered a 16-9 record and a 2.94 ERA in his final two seasons at Fairchild Field – striking out 179 batters in 153 innings while yielding just five home runs against. He totaled 262 strikeouts over 238 collegiate innings.
