SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University field hockey team has announced that its 2026 team captains will be senior forward
McKenna Boyle, senior defender
Kayla Snyder and senior midfielder
Hannah White.

Boyle has appeared in 56 games and made 19 starts as a forward for the Raiders. After emerging as a starting forward in the 2025 season, Boyle was named the NFHCA Division II Player of the Week on Nov. 12. She has totaled 42 points (18 goals, 6 assists) during three seasons. She is a native of Sussex Central (Del.) High School.

Snyder has played in 44 games, making 38 starts as a defender for SU. Snyder was one of seven players to start all 23 games during the 2025 season. In addition to being a defender, she was the designated penalty stroke taker, going 4-for-4 on strokes during the 2025 season. She is a two-time NFHCA All-Academic Squad honoree. She is a native of Garnet Valley High School.

White had appeared in 64 games, making 63 starts as a midfielder for the Raiders. She is a two-time NFHCA All-American and a three-time All-PSAC Second Team selection. White was named the 2025 PSAC Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after helping lead the team the conference title and was named to the 2025 NCAA All-Tournament Team. She has totaled five goals and 12 assists in her three seasons at SU. She is a native of Washington (Md.) High School.Â
