SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team has named redshirt-junior linebacker
Nate Myers its team captain for the 2026 season.

Myers was named to the 2025 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) First Team in his first season as a full-time starter. He ranked third in the PSAC with 14.5 tackles for loss and fourth in overall tackles with 102. He also recorded three interceptions.

Myers' total tackles and tackles for loss last season were the most for a Raider since Matt Feeney in 2022.

Shippensburg's season opener is Week 0 matchup against Lock Haven August 29 at Seth Grove Stadium.
