SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team wrapped up its 2026 spring schedule with a full-pad scrimmage Tuesday at Seth Grove Stadium.
 
The scrimmage was the culmination of more than a month's worth of practices that began on March 9. It was the first spring for the Raiders under head coach Drew Gallardy '10, who was named just the third head coach of SU Football program in the last 36 years back in December.
 
The spring also marked the first practices for new assistant coach Nehemiah Bowie and the first for Brayden Long in the role of offensive coordinator.
 
The 2026 season will begin Saturday, August 29 with a Week 0 matchup against Lock Haven at Seth Grove Stadium.
