SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team has announced plans for a "ChampionSHIP Family Day" event that is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at Seth Grove Stadium.
 
A large tent will be in place at the practice fields behind Seth Grove Stadium at which fans are encouraged to gather. Snacks will be available at the tent beginning at 9:30 a.m.
 
Head Coach Drew Gallardy will be addressing those gathered at the tent at approximately 10:30 a.m. to provide an update on the program and how spring practice has progressed.
 
The team will be practicing on the field from 11 a.m. to around 1:30 p.m. The first half of the on-field activities will be focused on basic practice elements and instruction with the second half of the on-field work to consist of more structured and competitive activities.
