SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team has announced a pair of schedule changes for the 2026 season.
 
Shippensburg will now begin the 2026 season by hosting Lock Haven at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 29 in a "Week 0" game at Seth Grove Stadium.
 
On Thursday, Sept. 10, the Raiders will travel to West Virginia Wesleyan for a 7 p.m. matchup against the Bobcats.
 
Shippensburg will no longer be traveling to play Lincoln as previously scheduled.
 
Lock Haven and Shippensburg were originally scheduled to face each other in Week 2 (Sept. 12). The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) granted permission for the league-mandated crossover to be moved up to Week 0 to accommodate SU's schedule change.
