Evan Shoffler has been recognized as the Hitter of the Week in the Atlantic Region by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Wednesday.

In a four-game weekend series against Lock Haven, Shoffler hit .688 (11-for-16) out of the leadoff spot. He reached base in 14 of his 19 plate appearances (seven singles, four extra-base hits, two walks, a hit-by-pitch) and compiled a .737 on-base percentage and a 1.125 slugging percentage (1.862 OPS) during that stretch.

Shoffler also went 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts, delivered seven RBIs and scored 10 runs.

In a Saturday sweep, Shoffler set the tone with seven runs and eight hits – highlighted by a go-ahead two-run single during the Raiders' comeback victory in Game 2. On Sunday at Lock Haven, Shoffler got on base five times; he was 3-for-6 with a two-run double, two walks, two stolen bases and three runs scored.

It is the second time this season Shoffler has been named Hitter of the Week in the Atlantic Region. He was previously earned the honor on Feb. 18 after hitting .546 during the Raiders' four-game series sweep of St. Michaels.

Shoffler was additionally named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Co-Athlete of the Week Monday.
