SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team has developed a series of new summer instructional clinics designed specifically for quarterbacks. The clinics will be held in late May and early June at Seth Grove Stadium.

There will be two "Elite" clinics open to high-school students entering grades 9-12. The dates for the Elite clinics are Saturday, May 30 and Saturday, June 6, and they will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

There will also be two "Youth" clinics open to students entering grades 4-8. The dates for the Youth clinics are Sunday, May 31 and Sunday, June 7, and they will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The aim of the clinics is for the attendees to develop their skills in a variety of disciplines, specifically quarterback development, improved play and establishing fundamentals through skills and drills.

The clinics will be directed by Shippensburg University offensive coordinator Brayden Long, a two-time Harlon Hill Trophy (Division II National Player of the Year) finalist who captained Slippery Rock to a No. 3 national ranking in his senior season as the team's starting quarterback. Long, a New Oxford native, enters his second season on the SU coaching staff in 2026.
