SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University lacrosse team was voted fifth in the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Preseason Coaches' Poll released Thursday afternoon by the league office.
 
The voting is conducted by the league's head coaches.
 
Among those ranked ahead of the Raiders are three teams in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Top 25 poll: No. 4 West Chester, No. 14 East Stroudsburg and No. 21 Kutztown.
 
This year's roster returns 16 players from last year's team. SU welcomes a strong class of twelve newcomers to the roster.
 
The Raiders begin their season at home on Wednesday, Feb. 18 against Wheeling at 3 p.m.
