SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University field hockey team had ten of its players selected Wednesday to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Academic Squad.
 
The Division II National Academic Squad honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year and who were nominated by their coaching staff.
 
Shippensburg's national academic squad honorees are Carme Caracotche Picone, Madison Fissel, Elaina Fragassi, Anne Gardner, Gabby Gober, Gracie Hivner, Ava Kientzy, Kelly Naudé, Kayla Snyder and Gabby Wameling.
 
Caracotche Picone, Fragassi, Gardner, Naudé, Snyder and Wameling are repeat NFHCA National Academic Squad honorees. Naudé earned the distinction for a fourth year.
