SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's swimming team was triumphant in its final home meet of the regular season, posting a 105.5 – 88.5 victory over Edinboro on Senior Day at Donald N. Miller Pool.

Shippensburg won five individual events and both relays while delivering 11 swims that satisfied the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships qualifying standards.

Each of the five Raider victories was claimed by a different swimmer. Mason Koeth impressed in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:44.86, while Robbie Ferlick got it done in the 50-yard freestyle by touching the wall in 21.63 seconds.

The 200-yard IM had an exciting finish, with Josh Einolf out-touching Alex Kissinger by .02 seconds (2:03.50 to 2:03.52) and Edinboro's Caleb Ludlow right on their heels at 2:03.88.

Mason Hockenberry won the 100-yard freestyle out of lane six, pacing a 1-2-3 finish for the Raiders with a time of 48.19 seconds. Ferlick was second in 48.32 seconds and Connor Ludwig third in 48.75 seconds – all three swims being PSAC cuts.

In his Raider debut, Ezekiel Eberly thoroughly impressed – winning the 100-yard backstroke with a lifetime PR of 52.04 seconds and placing third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.12 seconds. The swims qualified Eberly for the PSAC Championships in both events.

Koeth was also the runner-up to Eberly in the 100-yard backstroke with a PSAC cut of 54.39 seconds. Josh Wall finished second to Koeth in the 200-yard freestyle by swimming 1:47.77 and was the runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.62 seconds. Joe Herman was third in the butterfly, just .28 seconds behind Wall.
